The One and Only Amazing Water Slide!

Published by natnat under School Events, Games, Home, Camp, Fun Things

On the last day of camp, (if you haven’t read “How to NOT Get Injured at Archery”, the 31st of October) we had no activities except for………………. the one and only amazing water slide! We had to get into our swimmers and meet in the courtyard. After that we walked for around 10 minutes. The water slide was near the rock climbing place (which is around 9 - 10 minutes long…….. obviously). When we reached there we each got a mat or if you wanted to go in pairs one between two. On my first go I went with Sharon. After that I went with Souad, after that I went by myself and after that I went with Souad again. It was really fun! Angelo, one of our instructors said that if you pull up the front of the mat, you would go faster. On the curve of the slide, it felt like you were about to fall off! It was really fun! There were some students who weren’t going on the water slide, they were measuring who had got the furthest splash. Souad and I got the 4th biggest splash! The person who got the 1st biggest splash were actually 3 people. Because when Ranita was coming down after her was Jovan and Solomon who went a bit early and bumped into Ranita and they got the biggest splash! It was really funny and fun.

Well, that is what happened at the one and only amazing water slide!

How To NOT Get Injured At Archery!

Published by natnat under School Events, Games, Home, Camp, Fun Things

On the 29th of October some students from Stage 3 went to the Royal National Park for our school camp. On the first day we had 2 activities, archery and then a river ride. I am going to tell you in this post an explanation on how to do archery.

First of all, you stand sideways and pick your bow up. Then you pick up an arrow and click it on next to the gold part on the string of the bow. After that, you stretch the string up to your cheek and let it go (make sure you aim for the target or it will hit the ground instead!). My highest score was the large red circle. That is the 4th best out of 10.

Well, that is my explanation on how to NOT get injured at archery!

Before, the mighty King Cyrus had gone to the countries in the Persian Empire to tell them about a terrible previous war. On the way, he lost some very special items that could be very dangerous in the wrong hands. If these special and dangerous items are not found then the invading Alexander the Great will take over the Persian Empire forever! If these special items are found then Alexander the Great will be banished from Persia! Then you have finished my game and won!

MissionMaker Game Plan

Published by natnat under MissionMaker, Projects, Games, Home, Fun Things

After days of research and working on our game, we have finally got our plan for our MissionMaker game.

  • Rooms/Worlds – Egyptian room, tropical room, blank room, another blank room, another tropical room
  • Clues – Scrolls, (e.g. 11 + 2 – 7 so you could look for a key that has the number 6 on it), notice boards, (e.g. What word is wrong when it’s right and right when it’s wrong?), you could look for a notice board that has the answer on it.
  • Objects – Props – rocks to hide keys, levers to open doors
  • Pick-ups – clues – scrolls, weapons, food, drinks, keys
  • Winning – When you find all five weapons you have to then go back to Iran/Persia and fight Alexander the Great. Not until you defeat him the game won’t end so you have to defeat him to win!

Please play the game when you have a chance and when I have finished it!

MissionMaker Game Story 1

Published by natnat under MissionMaker, Games, Home

  • History Topic –
    Persian Empire
  • Characters – King Cyrus II, Alexander the Great, Soldiers
  • What will the characters do – You (King Cyrus II) will have to go to some of the countries in the
Persian Empire and collect a weapon.
  • What will you do now - After that you have to go back to
Persia and fight Alexander the Great and his army with the weapons.
  • Setting –
    Persia
  • Clues – There will be scrolls on the floor. Read the scrolls/ pieces of paper and there will be a hint. For example: 11 + 2 – 7 the answer is 6. So you could look for a key that has the number 6 on it that would open a door.

The
Persian Empire was found by King Cyrus II. It ended when Alexander the Great conquered
Persepolis in the 13th century. Under King Cyrus II, the
Persian Empire eventually became the largest and most powerful empire in human history until King Cyrus II died. The countries that were included in the Persian Empire were Iran, Egypt, Central Asia,
Northern India and Ionian Greek lands.
