The Mario and Sonic Times
Hi everybody!
We have been reading a book called ‘The Shaggy Gully Times’. The book is a newspaper with animals writing it. It also has a lot of puns. Puns are when you play around with words. We have also been learning about the human body and we have been looking at Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games on Wii. Below I have written a story about the Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games with the characters. Enjoy!

TABLE TENNIS MATCH OF THE EAR!
Just yesterday was the table tennis match of the ear! The one and only VECTOR, and the very muscular OWSER, played in the Olympics table tennis finals. Vector and Bowser both were going for their 10th OLD MEDAL this Olympics.
‘WOW’, ‘GOSH’, ‘OH MY GOD’! That’s what spectators all over the orld were shouting. No one blinked, no one moved, no one went to the toilet in case they missed some of the match, (with the result of a lot of people with wet ants!). Everyone was held in suspense, but then, everyone’s TV’s, the table tennis arena’s lights, the arena’s big screen, all black. All the electricity gone! BUT Vector and Bowser kept laying.
How did the people in the arena know? The sound of the table tennis ball rebounding off Vector’s and Bowser’s bats could be heard all over the arena. Did we know hat was happening in the match? No, no one knew, but Vector and Bowser kept playing. How did they see the ball? We don’t think they did see it. Everyone thinks that Ector and Bowser sensed the ball. I don’t think anyone could have done THAT.
Want to know who won the match? Sorry, we don’t know, I don’t think anyone does but unless Bowser or Vector tells us, we might never know
